This notice explains what happens to personal data on northfieldhubi.com. The controller is the two people who run this guide, reachable through the contact form.

The contact form collects the name, email address, subject and message you enter, and nothing else. There is no account, no profile and no newsletter.

We use that data on the basis of legitimate interest in answering correspondence, and where you tick the consent box, on the basis of your consent. Messages are used to reply to you and to correct pages, never for marketing.

Correspondence is kept while a matter is open and for a reasonable period afterwards so that a correction can be traced, then deleted. Ask us to delete it sooner and we will.

Our host keeps standard server logs, which record the requested address, a truncated network address, the time, the referrer and the browser string. Logs are used to keep the site running and to see that it is not being attacked, and are rotated on a short cycle.

There is no analytics, no tracking, no advertising pixel, no third-party cookie and no cookie of ours. The site stores nothing in your browser. The single script on the site opens and closes the navigation menu and sends nothing anywhere.

Fonts are requested from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts that service and it sees the request. If you would rather it did not, block third-party font loading in your browser and the site will fall back to fonts already installed.

Processors acting for us are the hosting provider and the email provider, each under a written agreement. If data is processed outside your own region, it is done under the safeguards the applicable law requires.

You may ask for access to your data, for it to be corrected or erased, for processing to be restricted or objected to, and for a copy in a portable form. Where processing rests on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

You may also complain to the data protection authority where you live or work, whatever country that is.
